Ibrahim worked as a Berth/Vessel planner in APM Terminals Apapa Ltd. From 2011-2012 where he gained experience in Ports and Harbours operations. During this period, he was actively responsible for preparation of berths for incoming vessels, planning of all vessels container discharge and load sequence and assortment of cargo manifest.

Since joining CARES he has been involved in developing environmental management plans, desk studies on environmental impact assessment surrounding dredging activities and also soil remediation.

He was part of the team that recently completed a WASH Project, Environmental Impact Assessment for UNICEF Liberia in 120 schools across 5 counties in Liberia that were hugely affected by the EVD outbreak. The work included preliminary site surveys, identifying sensitive receptors and advising on best practice approaches for reducing potential environmental impacts.

He also managed a Phase 1 Environmental and Infrastructure Site Assessment for a confidential client on 7 sites across Nigeria.
