Phase I infrastructure works included soil stabilization, pavement design and construction, water supply, communications network, refurbishment of the STS (Ship To Shore) crane rails amongst others.
CARES personnel were involved as Project Managers in the development works as well as responsible for quality control aspects of the project.
Phase II
In furtherance of terminal development, APM Terminals in 2012, commenced the Phase II stage of the Works. This included the development of 32 Hectares of the existing container terminal. The works included the Northern Yard Upgrade of the terminal and construction of the administration building.
CARES was appointed from the tender stage to assist in selecting the contractor as well as supervision during the construction period as Project Managers.
