Lagos Channel Management (LCM) is responsible for the maintenance of the Navigational Channel of Lagos Harbour, Nigeria’s Principle Port.
LCM has been incorporated as a Joint Venture (JV) Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) between the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and their Technical Partner, DEPASA with responsibility for maintenance of Lagos Harbour.
CARES have been appointed as the Technical Auditors reporting directly to the majority shareholders, The Nigerian Ports Authority.
CARES provide supervision and auditing services to ensure that the Channel Management Company’s contractual duties are fully carried out.
The work being carried out by LCM is for the maintenance of channels of Lagos Harbour (dredging), hydrographic survey, maintenance of the Aids to Navigation (AtoN) and wreck removal.
